Clifton Gym boys draped in designer swimwear, speedos and hugging shorts are to be found on this beach.
Camps Bay No better experience than sundowners at the number of street cafes and bars overlooking the ocean.
Muizenburg regarded as the surfing nursery, this warmer bay is ideal for learning to surf.
Sandy Bay recognised as the only nudist beach in South Africa, it offers endless relaxing away from the other tourist beaches.

- Never leave doors unlocked or open - not even during the day.
- Make sure that your front door is locked before going to bed.
- Switch on outside lights when you out in the evening. Ensure your home is properly locked.
- Mark your valuable property and keep a list in a safe place where police could easily find it.
- When you are out, avoid displays of expensive jewellery and never carry large sums of cash with you.
- Travel with locked doors and closed windows while driving, especially through built-up areas. Theives steal handbags and valuables by opening car doors or even breaking windows while the vehicle is stationary at traffic lights or in slow-moving traffic.
- Never open the window completely when approached by a stranger.

Value Added Tax refund procedure
Non-resident foreign passport holders, older than 7 years of age, on a temporary visit to South Africa are able to claim a VAT refund.

Banking services are generally available from 09:00 to 15:30 (Mon-Fri) and 08:30-11:30 (Sat), although some do have extended hours.
