There are so many things to do in Cape Town and the surrounding areas and to help you experience some of the splendor of Cape Town, we have suggested a few places you may like visit for you to experience all of Cape Town's scenery.
Cape Point (Cape of Good Hope)
- Leave Paarl 9am
- Drive to Spier in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands. (Stop for coffee or breakfast - optional).
- On to Muizenberg along the coast of Swartklip and Strandfontein. View Rhodes' Cottage.
- Then on to Kalk Bay stopping at the harbour and stalls.
- To Fishhoek and on to Simonstown. Stop at Boulders Beach to see penguins (optional).
- On to the legendary Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope - key beacon for early explorers and source of many myths and legends. Nowhere else in the world does an area of such spectacular beauty and such rich biodiversity exist almost within a metropolitan area - the thriving, cosmopolitan City of Cape Town.
- Return to Paarl with more sights along the way.
Entrance fee and lunch on return or at Cape Point are for the client's expense.
Big 5 at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve
5 Star luxury at a wildlife reserve nestled at the foot of the towering Warmwaterberg Mountain in the heart of the Little Karoo. The sheer expanse of the open valleys, 6500 plant species, 150 bird species, rock faces, rock art and variety of wildlife make this a destination not to be missed.
- Leave Paarl 9am
- Drive through the beautiful countryside of
the Breede River region to Worcester, on to Robertson, then Ashton and Montague and on to Sanbona. - Return the following day or when required.
Accommodation cost are for the client's expense.
V&A Waterfront and Hout Bay
- Leave Paarl 9am
- Travel via N1 to V&A Waterfront. Situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain in the heart of Cape Town's working harbour, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront has become South Africa's most visited destination. You have 2 hours in which to experience it!
- Drive along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay. At Mariner's Wharf one can view the incredible Fish Market, the Restaurants, and the myriad of Shops making up the largest collection of marine artefacts, souvenirs and antiques under one roof in the Southern Hemisphere. (Lunch at one of Hout Bay’s Restaurants is an optional extra.)
- Weather permitting, take a glass-hulled boat to Seal Island (for the client's expense).
- Then take a scenic drive over Chapman's Peak on to Fishhoek and back to Paarl.
Experience Spier

But Franschhoek's finer tastes don't end with wine. The picturesque valley also offers some of South Africa's most acclaimed restaurants and with everything from delicious Cape country fare to sublime French cuisine. There's a menu here for every taste, and every pocket.
